Obituary
At the age of 73, he passed away on Friday after a short illness. I still have both Curved Air and Sky albums from back in the day but I kinda lost touch with him along the way. I know he was involved in various film soundtracks and worked with some top musicians. Gone too young.
Was also a member of 801 with Phil Manzanera and Brian Eno
801 Live is a superb live album and I think will be getting a spin this evening
Also did the score for The Long Good Friday – superb film, fine soundtrack
Seconded on the 801 Live album, and I have a soft spot for Sky. Did he do anything after that?
