Anyone watching the new series? My god, the first twenty minutes of ep1 was the craziest piece of TV I’ve seen in ages. I just love how everything gets so fouled up. Fabulously twitchy direction. They sure know how to crank up the tension. “OK, then.”

Forward-looking to this I am. That first season was a blinder. As soon as I’ve finished Bloodlines.
Watched the first episode of Series 2 and agree with you Madfox – completely bonkers in a good way. Looking forward to rest of the series – the first was excellent
Absolutely brilliant. Quirky perfectly describes it.
Loved the film, but missed the first series. The second series is top dog, so I must seek out Series 1 . OK, then.
Loved the first series, especially the performances of Allison Tolman and, of course, Billy Bob Thornton.
Can’t see the second series as it only has online distribution here in Sweden – it’s not on any TV channel.
Will have to wait a year for the DVD set, I suppose.
Or you could just download a torrent like nearly everybody else … you can still buy the box later if your conscience pricks you!
It’s brilliant, I love it. Perfect TV
Outstanding. Absolutely brilliant.
It grates a little that my favourite character shares his name with a fair-to-middling Everton midfielder from the early 90s. Not quite as weird as on The Mentalist, where, in an alternative timeline, young Ossie Ardiles has completed his law studies and is now the Assistant District Attorney in Sacramento, California..
Jeez. Episode 4 was so darn well put together, I cried a bit when it finished. This season is shaping up to be the best 500 minutes of television ever made.
Wow. That’s all I keep hearing myself saying, “Wow!”
But… CG blood? Watching Ash v Evil Dead is like taking a shower in MS Paint, but that’s tolerable because it’s purposely daft head-on-backwards comedy horror, but the scene in the woods was some serious sh*t.
When the president’s plane crashes in Air Force One it’s comically bad but it saved them having to crash a plane!, ditto fake fire – why put your actors in the middle of an inferno? – but blood packs have been working just fine and don’t seem unduly dangerous or expensive so W T very F?
This is already classic television. When people watch this in the future they will methinks they will groan about the CG blood…
