About time. In 19 days time it’ll be June, which is like, er, summer! Spring seems to have passed me by somehow

Spring sprung in late February, as far as my garden is concerned.
I didn’t do any pruning last year as it was too hot and dry. I didn’t do any in winter as I was waiting for the last frost. Most things were coming into bud before the frosts ended in late April.
I have several shrubs (which have become small trees) and small trees (which have become big trees) which have taken every space minute to get under control. I should have the worst of it done in a couple of weeks.
At least I’ve had a chance to catch up on podcasts, yet still a massive backlog to go.

A very onomatopoetic post!

Taking a while here in Canada, parts of this province (Ontario) will apparently be colder today than some days in deepest winter. Could be the coldest mid May day in Toronto since 1959 (around 6 deg C) and some northern parts will get snow flurries! But it will probably be over 30 in a couple of weeks and we will be complaining about the heat…

Makes me think of this…I saw them at college – the entire place dancing.

Indeed it has. So naturally I spent most of the day in a car on the motorway.

Global warming ? Bring it on – more time for beers by the BBQ. What’s not to like?
