My brother had a brush with prostate cancer a few years back but is currently OK on that score.
EC’s was an aggressive form but seemingly was caught quickly and dealt with back in May.
The reason he’s cancelled the tour is that he came back to work a bit too soon after the op. and has decided he should have rested for a bit longer.
Good news is that a single operation may have fixed it. Better news, or less good depending on your point of view, is that there is a new album out in October.
I hope they’ve got rid of the bastard thing, I’ve been less than complimentary about recent live shows but I still hope he continues giving them for many years to come.
“Take very good care of your loved ones but gentleman, do talk to you friends – you’ll find you are not alone” does indeed sound very prostate. He should be fine. As @mike_H said, maybe he came back too soon. Or maybe he read the reviews.
Will be greatly relieved if he has been successfully treated. I am looking forward to the new album in October and an Imposters tour next year hopefully.
