Plot Synopsis :
Children, behold my vault of vinyl !
My Cornucopia of Clash LPs !
The extravaganza of XTX output !
Marvel at the Miracle legion !
Which of you will maintain this shrine when I fall off of my perch ?
Children – in rare moment of unity .. Not us you old twerp…
Current wife : What they said.
Hence ebay has become a dumping ground for the best part of 50 years worth of record collecting and truth be told, I’m quite enjoying it.
Choosing 500 to keep is difficult and watching some gems drift away for buttons…99p for Trust, Costello ?
I almost bought it back myself.
I’ve also had some stuff which has failed to ahem, generate interest and has been re-listed so frequently that it practically has RSI..( I’m looking at you, J Geils Band Full House Live and Stiffs – Live…)
Anyway, latest batch
Decade – Neil Young went for£17.00
Houses of the Holy is being viewed from afar and nestling at £7.50
Anyone fancy anything by Thomas Mapfumo, Misty I R, Moby Grape, Yes and The Flamin’ Groovies ? Then’ ave a look ..
I’d put a link here, but don’t know how to do it accurately ..
Seek and ye shall find !
I’m quite enjoying the ritual of the final play and the packing up..( More so if you’re by the Kinks, than by Dory Previn, if last night is anything to go by.)
Next batch, weirdly includes a bunch of Lightfoot, G. Hope the news and my actions are not connected…
Enough of this.
I’m now off to watch Haringey Borough in the London Senior Cup Final in some God-forsaken part of Hendon..Wish me and them, well.

All used, but eminently playable.
All priced to sell, but I’m not getting into VG ++ / – territory, but thanks anyway.
Today’s sales …
Houses of the H £20
Moby Grape £10.50
Hendrix Stone Free £5
Misty in Roots earth £10
Unloved..
Yes album
Newman, R Sail away
Rhymin’ Simon amongst others…
The loft beckons for next batch.
I suspect Rhymin’ Simon will be a hard one to sell as most vinyl-heads who like Paul Simon will already have it.
Indeed..
It’ll join the growing box of charity shop donations which already includes Colin Blunstone, Kevin Ayers and Mike Oldfield..The Unsellables wd be a decent band !
What was postage on the 99 p Trust sale?
About £3..I use some kind of ebay / evri service, which varies in price every time I use it .
In other news, folk rock enthusiasts cd do a lot worse than to listen to the Hollow Hand album, Your Adventure.. It’s fab
