The new Felice Brothers album Undress arrived on my doorstep yesterday. There is a song on there called Days of the Years which is just brilliant. Sadly not on Youtube yet but do yourselves a great favour and take a listen.
The art of songwriting is alive and well and thriving in the Catskills.

Well here’s a thing. I’m standing by the lake at Badminton, and I just read your post. On a whim I’ve decided to take your advice. I’ll certainly remember where I was when I bought it.
Don’t think you will be disappointed @Vulpes-Vulpes. Have been a fan since the early days – they made couple of lacklustre release but the last 2 albums are as going as they ever were.
I’ve enjoyed a few Felices in the past (presumably the the ones before the lacklustre period), so I am indeed cheered to find a new release so well recommended.
I’ve been a fan since the beginning, for me they’ve only released one dodgy album, ‘Celebration, Florida’. The new album was delivered Friday, not played it yet but will tomorrow.
What happened to those eager days of our youth, when we scurried home from the record shop, LP in bag and wallet lighter, retired immediately to our musty bedchambers and Played It F^^^ing Loud?
No waiting two days to play a new album back then!
There is when you receive 5CDs and 3 LPs on the same day.
Here they are,
Felice Brothers – Undress CD
Iain Mathews – Pure And Crooked/Skeleton Key 2CD
Swell Maps – Trip To Marineville CD
Neil Young – Austin City Limits CD
Nikki Sudden – Playing With Fire CD
David Crosby – Sky Trails LP
Ronnie Lane & Slim Chance – At The BBC LP
JJ Cale – Collected LP
I’ve been playing the Nikki Sudden & Swell Maps CDs mainly.
So disposable spondulicks are to blame.
Lack of, back then.
Plentitude of, now.
Nope, you’re wrong. I sell the stuff I don’t play to make room for new stuff which is payed for by selling the old stuff I don’t play.
I’ve been surprised by what some of the stuff I’ve sold has fetched in.
@Mike_H the Baron is a bit of an old codger. It will take him two days to get it out of the case and into the CD player and to ensure his hearing aid is in
Stupid tw@t.
Left my deaf aid with my specs somewhere.
Just need to remember where my finding-my-specs-specs are and I’ll soon be back in action.
Hey Mr T, that Felice Brothers album is the dog’s b@ll@cks. Played several times today.
