As always, a great update. I recognise a lot of what you say from sitting with my wife during her sessions a couple of years ago (and thankfully all clear now, so it is not painful to read).
Continued best wishes for your treatment and recovery.
Partial as I also am to a colourful shirt, I’m always in awe of your shoes. I only need to leave my front door to look like I’ve jumped with both feet into a massive cow pat.
At the NEC campervan show, on one stand I had to remove my shoes before I was allowed to try a bed for size. Harsh, but fair.
Not wishing to hijack your thread Niall but I’d just read that Hank Wangford had had a massive nosebleed in the new year brought on after giving the pavement a Glasgow Kiss. He mentioned he’d had a RapidRhino inserted in the nasal cavities to stop the bleeding. I just wondered @Dai if you’d had the same technique used?
I had something like that a year ago after a similar episode “packing”. It did the trick. Was expecting the same but had cauterization which was equally uncomfortable but I don’t need to go back to have it removed unlike that kind of solution. Just need to be very careful not to fiddle with the nose for 48 hours. The very low humidity air here in winter is a problem for me along with bad habits and high blood pressure

@Chrisf Thank you 🙏

@fentonsteve I’m very selective about where I wear my ‘good shoes.’
Spent 12 hours in an emergency department in Otttawa yesterday with epistaxis (severe nosebleed), I recognise some of your observations
@dai Thanks. Hope you’re okay.
Cauterized, so far so good. Thanks

Clearly a band that appreciates their fans – such a lovely thing to do!
@Locust I’m still flying from it.
Big Big Train honouring @niallb is the most appropriate thing I have read this year. But what a thrill as well.
Agreed!
@Tiggerlion 🙏
@Leedsboy I’m still floating.
Looks like a top chemo pie!
@mikethep It was, 🙏
