Ah, the power of a good hug should never be underestimated- such a shame the weather has been so pants you’ve not been able to get out though (it’s horrible at the moment). Fingers crossed there’s some sun (or at the very least some dry) round the corner so you can.

I hope the side effects keep on being manageable – you have the advantage of being used to dealing with all sorts of not very nice things, both physically and mentally (but I bet they never felt like advantages before…!)

Good to hear that Janet is back. It will make the world of difference – my wife did say that just having someone there, knowing that someone was looking out for her very need, made it so much easier in those difficult in between treatment weeks.
Hope you can get out for those walks soon – as mentioned in a previous comment, my wife still believes it was one of the key things in her recovery.
