I’ve had a stressful year so far, a stressful couple of weeks and a particularly stressful morning.
When I am stressed, I find this song chills me out. It’s so beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes.
Call me a girl, I don’t care. I’m not stressed any more.

This is just lovely:
Cheers, Rob. I’m floatin.
Oh, that’s great. Thanks. I really hope the day/week/month/ rest of year gets better.
Thank you, Rubes.
I have to report, though, that the car I hired for four days because my own car keeps threatening to let me down just let me down as I drove on to the Kingston F***ing Bypass [see also “Things That Grind My Gears As A Road User”]. Ironically, it made a grinding noise and threw up a warning light I couldn’t work out [the bastards at Sixt don’t put an owner’s manual in the car, even though this particular specimen was brand new – 17 miles, yes, fact fans, only 17 miles on the clock when I picked it up]. I ran the usual series of tests – waiting by the roadside for five minutes, using the hazard lights, pulling off slowly, then putting my foot down – and it managed the 12 miles home okay.
Fassn rassn rrrr…
Try this bit of shameless self-promotion:
Makes me relax at least.
This one does it as well.
Beautiful song and a real standout on that album. In a similar vein this one has the exact same effect on me:-
