Tonight on the Dave Gorman Modern Life is Goodish, he did a piece about a hard to finish picture quiz on the internet. One of the sites mentioned raving about this impossible quiz was this one. I have done a search and can find nothing on the site.
Does anyone know about it?

Yeah, I was watching that, very good too. Here you are, Hubert –
(I put “guessagain” into the search box)
That’s the one, thanks @JimmyJimmy
Oh, I remember that. “Bruce Spring-stein” (which is pronounced “stine” not “steen”) was a bit of a stretch as far as I’m concerned. It’s not because I’m bitter at not getting them all. Honest.
I never did find out if the vast majority of them were actually made up and it was all a joke – I suspect the latter. Was it Gorman himself who was behind it?
Not sure our thread was raving about it though – I think the few of us who contributed agreed we could find 7 or 8 then gave up, apart from HP who went all whimsical on us.
Was indeed all a joke, only 9 (IIRC) to find. He explained it was to stuff a friend called Mickeypaedia.
He explained that the picture of a cup of tea surrounded by moles was Moley Cuppa (Molly Cooper who doesn’t exist at least as a band or singer) and that the statue of Michael Jackson referred to a band called Jacko’s Statue.
There’s a Facebook page where people have vented their spleen.
Still it was good to see the Afterword shown on television @badartdog
Repeated tonight at 11 on Dave. Worth it to hear the explanation and see the Afterword masthead.
Wait.
I hadn’t quite got the import of this thread.
THE AFTERWORD APPEARED ON THE TELLY??
Only the masthead but we were there towards the end,
but worth watching the whole programme.
The revolution starts here! Once we get our own show, who’s going to be the presenters?
Can I be the first to suggest Gerry Rafferty, considering how quiet he’s been recently…?
Can I suggest an After Dark type format? (AfterWordDark?)
I will take the Oliver Reed role.
If I was invited on it I’d be tempted to take up smoking again. Probably wouldn’t be allowed now in so-called-PC-nanny-state-ooh-where’s-my-mummy “Britain”.
Could someone please let me know which episode of which series this is so I can find it on YouTube?
Thanks!
First , and so far only, episode of the new series 4. At the moment you can play it here (though that might be UK only) http://uktvplay.uktv.co.uk/shows/dave-gormans-modern-life-is-goodish/watch-online/?video=5187621383001
You needn’t worry about missing it. Mr Gorman’s show is repeated so often I see his check shirts when I close my eyes at bedtime..
