I was watching that Buffy the Vampire Slayer the other day and noticed a song in the background… didn’t recognise it but caught a few lines of lyric and Googled…
It was Tales Of Brave Ulysses by Cream
(Giles – and Buffy’s mum – had eaten trippy chocolate, as had everyone else in town, victims of a dastardly demon plot to undermine the discipline of adults, make them behave like lippy teens then the demon would sneakily eat the contents of the local maternity unit)…
The Buffster saved the day, of course…

That’s the one were Giles and Buffy’s mother, erm, get acquainted. Which is more shocking to teenagers than vampires.
Elsewhere in Buffy Antony Head strums an acoustic version of Freebird.
And I am not ashamed to know these things
I would just like to say that I still ADORE Buffy The Vampire Slayer. One of the great pinnacles of popular TV.
Right. Back to yer knitting.
I’m not knitting. That clacking sound is my joints. Corrrrr, strewwwth!
Yep, Buffy is – forgive the pun – immortal. I need to gorge myself on it again; it’s been too long.
