It has struck me just how often my comment will be the last one on a thread before it dies and goes to Afterword heaven.
So here’s a few tips:
1. It helps to be in a different time zone so thast you miss all the cut and thrust and banter when all the Europeans are either bludging at work or logging on at home after work or commuting.
2.Join a thread that very few people have contributed to.Vish appreciation society threads( Chair: Colin H) are a good example.
3. Join in threads where there has been a massive flurry of contributions and internecine warfare has broken out. By the time you chip in it’s a case of “move on, nothing to see here”.
But if you want to avoid being last on the list, stick your oar in on a thread started by Saucecraft , he can usually be relied on to keep the embers glowing
