I like No Time For Dreaming best, his debut, released when he was 62.
His vocal similarity to James Brown put me off at first but, one day, I realised I don’t play much early Brown when he sang Soul and that I preferred Bradley’ singing those kind of songs. No-one beats Brown for fonk, though.
I wouldn’t choose stomach cancer as a way to die but it seems it was quick. He only cancelled a tour a couple of weeks ago, declaring he’d be back soon.
