Featuring all of the 257 songs so far posted by the contributors.
I’ll add the rest as they are added to the blog post.
Any that are missing from your selections are either not available on Spotify, or were chosen by someone else, or I just couldn’t find them – feel free to add them if you can – It’s a collaborative playlist
Hey @Kaisfatdad, as you are a wizard of Spotify yourself, could you possibly help me add the missing tracks from me onto that playlist? I never really use Spotify, so I have no idea how it’s done.
Only six tracks of mine on that playlist, but looking at Spotify I can find Imperiet’s “Tonårs Jesus”, and I’m sure most of the others ought to be there as well.
My missing tracks are:
Lolita Pop – Fåglar av is
Ebba Grön – Die Mauer
Imperiet – Tonårs Jesus
Anders F Rönnblom – I ett snöfall
Hansson de Wolfe United – Iskalla killen, full av mänsklig värme
Daniel Norgren – Everything you know melts away like snow
(LarsErik Larsson’s Förklädd Gud, sats III is perhaps difficult to find in the correct version, so don’t bother)
Or if that’s too much trouble, perhaps you could tell me how to add them myself?
Either choice would be much appreciated! 🙂
Hey Locust, I had another look for your missing tracks and I did manage to find one of them [Daniel Norgren – Everything you know melts away like snow] If they are on Spotify where you are then I can only assume it’s a licensing issue [or I need new specs] Of course, if you do find them please do add them [if Spotify lets you] as it would be nice to have as many of the tracks as possible in the playlist.
I’ve found licensing issues cause certain tracks to vary in availability depending on country. Very annoying when sharing music with international chums.
Thanks for your help, but it appears that the added tracks only show for me when I go to the playlist on Spotify and not in the playlist in the OP, which I presume means that only us Swedes can listen to them anyway!
But thanks for trying! I think I’ve managed to figure out how to do it on my own next time.
Oh, and that replacement track from A F Rönnblom is VERY different from the one I had on my swap CD! I like it, but compared to most of his stuff it could be described as a bit of a novelty song, which is the reason (along with being a Christmas song of course) that it’s one of his very few hits, and by far the biggest I would guess!
(Also, that’s the wrong movement of Förklädd Gud…not that I’m complaining after all of your kind help! 😉 )
What a loser, I am! @Locust. Can’t even get the right movement of Förklädd Gud!
The tracks I added though, should be available to all Spotty listeners. Perhaps @Lemonhope could report back to us on that.
YouTube is far more restrictive than Spotty as regards blocking tracks for certain regions. I am very delighted that the Spotser is so wonderfully open and broad.
Great! And good work putting the playlist together, @Lemonhope. Sorry for making your job difficult with lots of Å,Ä and Ö in my titles and/or artists names! 😀
Brilliant @lemonhope, many thanks from @kid-dynamite and myself, have been fascinated by many of the other CD mixes. You many have just made yourself a role in the next swap team.
What they said – this looks amazing. Part of me wishes I’d participated in the swop, part of me, looking at this list, feels I am not worthy. Thanks Lemon

Lovely. Your efforts are much appreciated, sir.
Brilliant work, Lemon! That will keep me happy for hours and introduce me to all kinds of new stuff.
Pugh Rogefelt, Samla Mamma Manna and Hallo Saferide! I have a strange suspicion that I know whose playlist that was!

I will be delighted to help you with that, Locust. And also give you a brief tutorial on how to create a playlist and add tracks to it.
Glad to see you spreading the word about fine bands like Hansson De Wolfe United.
That was fun, Locust!
Ander F Rönnblom was a real discovery, even if this was not the song you asked for. Quite bonkers!

Well, there are now 266 tracks in the playlist so it seems to be working 👏

Copy & paste 😉
cool thanks
Way way WAY too much time on your hand Lemon!!! Very cool thanks.
THIS is why this place is worth its weight in gold.
Your spreadsheet was invaluable – I suspect it took you longer to collate than I spent on the playlist
Get a room you two. 🙂
(Just a reminder that my mix is still available to listen – complete, and with the correct versions – on Mixcloud:
Accept no substitute)
Mine too! And the Marvin Gaye track even skips at one point just to prove I took it from original vinly!
Wow, thank you!

Is it sad that I really enjoy doing this sort of thing?
And yes, I have too much spare time…
Nice work @Lemonhope
Great work.

@blue-boy we’ll have a spot by the fire reserved for you next time round.
Lots of discoveries to be made on that playlist.
Like Japan’s Boom Boom Satellites. now sadly no more.
That was from my mix! Fantastic track, and their name is (poor) English for… Sigue Sigue Sputnik!
This is my new favourite fact. I’m pretty sure everyone at work on Monday will be impressed.
