Every new Springsteen concert played turns up, so it seems, fairly pronto, on the interweb. Not my bag, so much, but I am sure you know of their “exystence” (sic)
Every Springsteen concert has had an official release in the last 10 years or so either as a mp3/FLAC download or a CD-R. This is a pro-shot video which in the old days would have come out on DVD or Blu-ray. Plus there are hundreds of archive ones. I tend to limit myself to one or two per tour plus shows I attended
The recent Live From Asbury Park release is pretty good. The pre- BTR songs shine up very well on it. I wasn’t a big fan of the originals tbh. The penultimate Twist And Shout is good fun. Max has astonishing stamina.
Clarification from Bruce, they have been editing the whole gig for release, but he checked out the first seven songs when they were completed and decided that he wanted that out immediately without waiting a few months for the rest of the show to be finished
I enjoyed the first part of the film.
I had no idea that Bruce covers the Clash’s “Waiting for the Clampdown”. Unexpected and pretty good.
Having said that, I knew that Bruce had covered a Joe Strummer song live before – he did “Coma Girl” to open his set at Glastonbury, I think.
We watched this last night and it’s a belter – just such a shame it stops after the seven songs. The filming is great and seamlessly moves from colour to black and white, even using some crowd shot footage by the looks of it. Can’t wait to see the rest.

I used to be exhausted by his concerts, now I’m exhausted by his video trailers.
The version that I am seeing from here in Singapore is the first seven songs only (clocking in at approx 37 minutes).
Is it the same worldwide or is there some region variations ?
Apparently it’s going to be released in 4 parts. Part 1 first today. Bit strange, but I guess they have their reasons

He’s also done London Calling

Part 2 is up:
Great stuff from Bruce thanks @dai
I think Bruce looks a bit strange wearing a tie when performing on stage…
