The opinionated composer-turned-conductor was never dull, in fact he took to the baton to share his love of music with, ahem, the masses of people who like that kind of stuff. Died yesterday at 90. Good guy. Here’s a sample

Just read that Monsieur Boulez for a while lived in the same apartment that was later the scene of Jim Morrison’s death. You learn something every day.
