I would rate from about ’56 to ’67 as the Blue Note label’s golden age.
Agreed. According to a theory that I’ve just invented, that was when funk started to creep in, along with rock and pop. I blame Miles.

I am impressed that they not only have the playlist on the streaming sites but also on YouTube.
I can imagine that will open all manner of interesting doors. Both by reading listeners’ comments and exploring the different YT channels where the clips have been posted.
That Post-Bop one is just one of many.
There are a whole set of playlists that Blue Note have put up on the streamers.
I checked what’s in that playlist against my collection. 25 albums that I have not yet got.
