Katie Spencer’s from round our way. I saw her supporting Ralph McTell last year, and later in Beverley. In fact prior to lockdown there was barely a pub or cafe you could go to in the whole of East Yorkshire where she wouldn’t at some point turn up and plug in.
She’s ace.
I’m very much looking forward to the next State of the Union album, the duo formed of Brooks and my old mucker Boo Hewerdine.
