Wow, that was good. Beautiful, spellbinding and eerie. I bet comparisons with the Wicker Man soundtrack are overused but they would be apt here.
Those that like this kind of thing should check out Matt Deighton’s forthcoming collaboration with some of Magnet, who played on the aforementioned soundtrack.
Wicker Man connections. The keyboard player, Jason Hazeley (formerly of Ben & Jason) is the co creator of those Adult Ladybird books with Joel Morris who is in Candidate who recorded an album of Wicker Man infused songs called Nuada and last year released an EP of actual covers from the 1973 cult film.
I love that Candidate album – really captures the mood of the WM film. Had no idea they were still about. Thanks for the tip off.
