I was always a fan of Steve Bell’s “If….” Strip in the Guardian (especially during the Maggie years).
Given the current state of the water companies and the recent Beach Boys thread, this was always one that I remember…..

Yup, Chris Riddell for large format stuff and Matt as, far and away, the best ‘pocket’ cartoonist. I hear he’s continually tempted away by the Times and the Mail, to the extent that the Telegraph up his wage by a significant amount every year and have thrown in a luxury grace and favour holiday home.

If there was a candidate for worst cartoonist it would go to the same paper’s execrable Martin Rowson
I had a splendid hour in the Cartoon Museum yesterday. Lots of great political and generally funny ones going back centuries, old litho plates, small but packed shop and a terrific cafe down the road called.Kaffine which is a across the road from the new Gibson guitars shop. Fitzrovia rocks.
