I would encourage anyone interested in Bert to buy the physical box set (either compressed 4LP vinyl + full download or full 8CD version) – a beautifully presented artefact with a substantial booklet and long interviews with/testimonials from 20 radio/TV presenters and musical collaborators…. but if you’re short of cash, the audio has appeared today on streaming platforms:

40 page LP-size “booklet” looks an excellent read too, as one would expect from the Boy Harper, eh!
May start with the less familiar (to me, at least) more recent stuff…
You may indeed find the 2000-2009 era very rewarding 🙂 The booklet is about half its original size, but that’s fine. One of the three songs from his final studio session, in 2009 – a surprise revival of a 1974 album track.
