The track “Above The Clouds Of Pompeii” by Bears Den (see comments) popped up on my YouTube feed and posting here just because it’s rather lovely.
It’s from their debut album “Islands” which was released in 2014 and has its inevitable 10yr anniversary due imminently.
That said, a band that don’t get enough discussion and well worth investing your time on (in my humble opinion)

Disappointed to learn that they’re not from Glasgow…🙂

Both Londoners of, I believe, Scots heritage. Indeed, the singing affects a slight Caledonian burr, and they have a penchant for slimmed back Highland & Island tours. I like them a lot, but suspect they risk running overly downhill into sensitive for sensitives sake, judging by the releases since the last actual album. But, as long as they maintain the pastoral English hymnal trumpets and the flickers of Celtic 5 string banjo, each recurring themes from day one, I’ll keep listening.

Here’s the original, minus the Irish fella on guest vocals

Another (admittedly dodgy) pun bites the dust…🙁
