I watched this BBC3 programme and it seems like a separate world to mine but at least it explains the term and those that choose to use it.

The video clip attached to the Jimi Hendrix RAH film includes in the titles that it the reproduction was “painstaking”…then don’t do it FFS.
Reporters often do recall things being done “in earnest”. I have never done anything in earnest.

Just watched Sheryl Crow.
I loved her back in the 1990s but haven’t heard many of these songs for over 20 years but she was excellent and I need to go back and dig out the Best Of Cd from the loft.
I think this will not be the first ‘ joy of re-discovery’ this weekend!

In the current digital world it is weird that at every business meeting I attend everyone has a pen and a A4 book to jot down what happens in the meeting and all of the follow-up is via email etc. We clearly still need to write but what is the obsession with joined up writing about?
