News filtering through that John Douglas of the Trashcan Sinatras has passed away after a short illness. Some may know him as Eddi Reader’s better half and I think he was a very occasional poster on this forum, keeping us up to date with TCS news. Particularly devastating as the Trashcans had just released their latest album after the usual long hiatus. RIP John

Don’t know if Clive is everybody’s cup of tea on here, but I have enjoyed his Music for 40 odd years and I’m sure there might be some love for his work with Any Trouble, with Christine Collister and his solo stuff. Anyways, I just happened to notice that he has been releasing plenty of un-released material this year to mark his retirement from solo-gigging. So far he’s released 7 CD’s of loosely themed stuff – examples include a 12 song effort celebrating each month, a Manchester themed piece and one featuring favourite guitar players.
