Lo Moon:
They were mentioned a while back but I think Lo Moon certainly deserve to be better known.
They have released 3 albums now, all worth a listen.
Here is a really good studio live thingy they did recently…

Hello
I sometimes find myself wanting to buy CDs in the UK, to be sent to me overseas (Japan).
A number of years back, Amazon.co.uk were reasonable with their postage charges, but at one point (can’t quite remember when) they suddenly seemed to get real expensive. (About 15 quid postage for 1 cd!). At least that take of VAT, but still…
I’m trying to find alternatives places where I can buy CDs (maybe Blu-rays too) that offer (more) reasonable postage charges.
Anyone know of any?
Thank you.

Hello
I visit this Forum every day and appreciate it, even though lots of things discussed aren’t exactly my cup of tea. A hold over from the magazine way back.
However, I do find it really difficult to keep track of topics and really hard to follow stuff, especially when they get long. The layout seems really odd and disjointed and I never know where replies are going to appear (even after using it for a long time). The “flow” is… well, it doesn’t really flow.
Does anyone else share this view?
Have the good folks in charge ever considered an alternative application?
There are various ones out there, and some are inexpensive. Including many really cool features too.
For example, I believe the Invision one would be a huge upgrade:

Anyway, just a thought. Thanks!

I realise most of you really do not care about the situation in Japan, now that the Olympics are over. But I thought I would give you an update as we get our second dollop of madness force fed to us next week.
We are still at about only about 35% of the population fully vaccinated, and that is heavily skewed towards over 65s. I have not had my first jab yet. Maybe in September if I am lucky.
Covid case numbers have risen 600% in less than four weeks.
Back then, we are on about 4,000 a day. It’s going to be about 24,000 today, and the numbers are rising at quite the pace now – over the last few weeks a real momentum has got going.
But, hey, shiny gold medals, right?
All sorts of apocalyptic language is now being used now by medical types and the government is desperately trying to get people to not do stuff. ‘Desperate’ being the appropriate word. Beyond asking people to sacrifice their welfare, they don’t seem to have the slightest idea as to what to do.
Well, apart from force the Paralympics on us all from next week.
That’s » Continue Reading.
