ATM – PC speakers

Hi all, I’m after some advice, please. I’m after a pair of active speakers for my PC. Budget up to approx £150. I generally use headphones but I do like to give them a break at times. I will be listening to music, playing the odd PC game and would like to be able to use them instead of the main hi-fi at times and fill a smallish room with sound. I’m not mad on heavy bass(neighbours to think about). I don’t want a bass speaker so 2.0 stereo will suffice. Over to you –

So the Royal Mail are producing Bowie Stamps in March. I seem to remember buying Bowie stamps a few years ago. I’ve also been a little dissapointed by the number of Bowie merchandise popping up on various websites over the last year. I suppose it was to be expected but it made me think about Bowie turning down Royal honours and yet the ‘Royal Mail’ is very happy to sell Bowie stamps. They would probably sell Jack the ripper stamps if they thought they had a market. Maybe they should have stuck with a second class edition!

ATM – Backpacking in Asia – insurance advice

My daughter is off backbacking in Thailand/Vietnam/india for three to six months. She has asked me for advice re travel insurance. I haven’t travelled like this but I thought some of you may have some experience yourselves or sons/daughters. She is twenty four. Any pointers to particualr companies you have used would be great or any other pointers to help would be much appreciated. Thanks

This time last year I started this thread and you added some great tracks. I have just been reminded by my diary that it was a year ago. I haven’t thought about it for long but ‘Little Star’ by Stina Nordenstam has come to mind. No doubt lots of you may know it but maybe some of you haven’t heard it.
