It is pretty mild here in west Cornwall, but this is the earliest yet the camelias have started to come out. I don’t mind though. Unless it’s proper snow and we can all sack off work then I loathe winter and can’t wait for the days to lengthen.

From time to time every Afterworder will feel the need for a little sugary pick-me-up or chocolaty treat. Whether a Mars bar on the commute home or a bag of Maltesers whilst lying in a contemplative, stoned reverie on the sofa, we will all have a confection of choice.
I love the Raisin & Biscuit Yorkie and the dark chocolate Bounty (never the more obvious milk chocolate version), but top of the tree would be a simple packet of Fruit Pastilles. Five yummy flavours and of course I keep all the strawberry ones to last!
