What does it sound like?:

It sounds like the best Charlatans album you already own, only a little more fun. Here are four guys (and bits of New Order, The Smiths, The Jam and Sharon Horgan) having a blast, successfully creating something new but still unmistakably The Charlatans.

What does it all *mean*?

It means that this, the first Charlatans vinyl I have bought since the 12″ of “The Only One I Know” is a joy. I was concerned that the guestlist might muddy the concept a bit, but it really doesn’t.
