On the “C’mon Greece” thread I belatedly welcomed to you back. You chose to treat this as some form of sarcasm. Whilst on political/social matters I disagree with almost every stance you take I genuinely do welcome you back. You make me think, challenge my wishy-washy liberal assumptions and often make me laugh. Welcome back indeed!!
Thanks to Gary F
In the aftermath of this most depressing of elections I have viewed this rather a lot today
I love this album..
….but Mrs S hates it. Who’s right?
Bob…
I mentioned this in my late late entry for What We Did Last Month but as nobody seemed to read it her is the plug once more.
Great writing, great insights, a joy!

Not very exciting, is it?
So here we are a few weeks back on the open sea. Lots of us are still finding our way around the new ship and especially using a tablet as a guide I keep getting lost, opening wrong doors and generally wandering aimlessly around. But is it just me or has something of the old spirit been lost as we spent months & months scattered to the four winds or marooned in the wilderness that is Facebook? I bump into the odd person here and there, we have a wee chat about Ladies of Soul or something, then we nod politely and say “see you around”. Of course Captain Burt and a lot of his officers are missing in action but that can’t be the whole reason for what, for me at least, is an air of becalmed turpitude. Tell me it ain’t so…..
