i have spent about the last 16 years in a nice part of Suffolk so I have got out of the habit of being abused by random strangers. Anyway this afternoon me and MrsD were walking through the town when a well dressed, trendy bearded, bloke walked past and without even breaking stride asked us if we had any spare change as he went by. I said “no, sorry”. A few seconds later he shouted at us in a well spoken voice “I don’t mind you not giving me any money but there was no need to audibly huff”. He then kept shouting “not in my backyard”. This did make a change from being called a c**t, which is what I was used to in the old days but is definitely the poshest bit of abuse I’ve ever had from a complete stranger. I wouldn’t mind but we didn’t even huff, audibly or otherwise…
