It’s Nik Kershaw. That line-up played at Costa Del Folk in Ibiza in April this year and were very impressive. The drummer is the bandleader and was excellent. The guitarist is the same guy who played lead guitar for Rick Astley at Glastonbury. Nik is no slouch on guitar as he proved on the big hits eg Wouldn’t it be nice
It’s quite possibly a device that allows the bass player to feel the vibration of their playing through their feet on smaller stages. Helpful, apparently, if you need that king of thing.
