I used to use a little software gem called WireTap Studio, had it for years and it was great for recording audio either through the mic or Mac audio, or both. Now it doesn’t work with the latest Mac OS.
So can anyone recommend a way to record Skype calls? I have to record an interview with the director of “Eat That Question” for my radio show tomorrow – erk!!
I think I can probably do it running Quick Time at the same time, just wondered if there’s a nifty bit of pref free software though
Thanks in advance

I’ve used Apowersoft Audio Recorder successfully in the past, but not with El Capitan, and it’s not free ($39.95 currently). However, their website says this version of OSX is supported. http://www.apowersoft.com/mac-audio-recorder

I have used Audio Hijack from Rogue Amoeba software in the past to record Spotify etc etc – if I recall correctly I started using that when WireTap wouldn’t work any more.
These days I tend to just use the QuickTime screen recording feature, which will capture the audio also.

Thanks, will check out Rogue Amoeba. Yeah the QT feature is there. Cheers

I use Call Recorder (inventive name huh) for all the podcasts. Works well and good Skype integration.
