Hello all,
My car stereo has broke and can’t really afford to get a new one that does what I want right now. I have used my Kindle on the dashboard today and it is fine for driving around town but when on the motorway its just not loud enough to get over the road noise. Can anyone recommend a portable speaker that could be good to use in the car for my Kindle and I-phone.
Cheers – Joe

I don’t have one, but what about the XMI X-mini II for a tenner?
Mrs F has a Jabra Solemate for the bathroom, very nice sound for 70 to 80 quid.
“Mrs F has a Jabra Solemate for the bathroom”
Woahhh, TMI, dude!
*snorfle*
No opportunity for innuendo here, I’m afraid, Mrs F listens to the Archers omnibus in the bath.
The Solemate was a free gift from Jabra as she works for a company which supplies some of the innards. I was all ready to flog it on eBay but it was really rather good.
Thanks to fentonsteve for putting me on to the X-mini II. I Iooked on Amazon and found a new version had been made and was reduced from £40 down to £12 and had lots of positive reviews so I went for it and am really pleased with my purchase, it is a great little speaker and suits the job for me.
