I am in That London today to see The Unthanks and Marry Waterson at The Scala tonight.
Any recommendations for decent boozers in the vicinity greatly appreciated.

Former Word mag spiritual home The Lexington is a shortish walk / bus trip from Kings X
The actual pub at St Pancras station, a wee walk away is quite good
I had a decent beer in The Lucas Arms back in the summer. Five minute walk at most.

I’d second the Lexington. Decent boozer and it’s a five minute walk, 10 tops, from the Scala just up Pentonville Road.
I would have liked to see Marry Waterson but I’m going to the seated Unthanks gig at Union Chapel tomorrow (along with half the regular London based posters it seems). The Union Chapel website reports Unthanks at 8, no support, with an expected finish of 10:15. That’s a lot of Unthanks for your money so I can’t complain.
It’s probably a bit late, but The Parcel Room, the pub in Kings Cross Station is not bad
The Fellow on York Way. Perfectly serviceable modern pub. Huge benefit of proximity to the station. Even closer, more upmarket and therefor more expensive is the GNH Bar.
