On the grand scale of things, this is a very 21st century problem. I signed up for a free trial with Prime video, once I found out that I could’ve get it through Sky Q, mainly for the footie. In the meantime I’ve watched a few things and have recently found that it doesn’t seem to remember where I’ve got to in a series – I’m sure it used to, but not now. I cannot find anywhere that I can tell it to resume from where I left off. Anyone else had this issue, and, more importantly, know how to fix it? I haven’t seen anyone bring this up on help forums etc on Amazon or Sky, or Google itself.
Also, I get foreign sub-titles pop up whenever there is a sign in the background – languages vary! I’m currently watching Bosch, where both issues prevail. Quite enjoying it apart from these issues.

I don’t much like Prime, but, given it came gratis my wife’s near monopolisation of their UK network these past few years, mustn’t grumble.
Actually, yes, Mr Bezos, let’s have fewer pay per views, only discovered after the decision to watch has been made. And more subtitles! Yes, even for so called English language product.
Virgin TV did that watching No Offence in All4 – ended up writing doesn’t the last episode we watched.
My Prime (through LG TV) retains progress allowing resumption of a series.
Daft thing it does though is under the “Watch Next” section (where I would expect to see “Stuff you might like …” is a list of all the films and series I’ve already watched.
(I know this is no help, but I share your 21st Century frustrations with this type of thing)
Watch next for us too
Works for me. Maybe you are somehow logging out of your account or switching user?
