I haven’t yet been as they only open 4 days a week, and are closed on Sundays and Mondays, which is when I am passing by en route from West Runton to home.

Here in Ottawa record stores seem to be remarkably robust, don’t know of any independent ones closing in the last decade or so. Mostly applies to Montreal too. Not the case in Toronto, presumably because business rental rates are much higher.
And another – The Vinyl Revival Store in Buckden – (my closest) is going at the end of the year.
Effectively a garden shed, it can’t sell enough new stock to get hold of RSD stock, and RSD is the only day of the year it makes a profit. And it doesn’t even have rent to pay.
