I reviewed Plainsong’s album In Search Of Amelia Earhart a few months ago.
Today The Washington Post has run a story claiming she was captured by the Japanese and didn’t die in a crash
A newly unearthed photo shows Amelia Earhart survived her final flight
Will Ian Matthews be inspired to write something new about her? (I suspect not).
Here is a fairly recent rendition of the song(s). Scroll forward as the music doesn’t start until at about 4:10.

As evidence goes, that is beyond lame.

I’m very sorry.
I’ll make sure I run future posts by you in future.
Podicle says
Sorry, not a dig at your post but rather the mystery mongering that the media indulges in when there is no mystery to be had.

I feel an urge to post this song, Amelia Earheart`s Last Flight by Plainsong.
Ronnie Lane did a version of the song as well, of course.

And this of course
Mavis Diles says
Let’s assume for a moment that this photo is what they say it is.
If the plane landed here, why is it on a barge? Where is it going?
Why is there a complete absence of peril in the picture, and who are the other people? No official looking presence.
That said, I do weirdly suspect that this is precisely what it says it is, but is inexplicable at the same time.
