Why did The Clash bother to record a version of Dylan’s “The Man in Me” ??? Dylan’s version sounds more like The Clash than does The Clash’s version.

Wow. I don’t know a lot of Dylan but he really does sound like Strummer in much of that clip.
How weird watched that movie on weekend and have been singing Man In Me ever since.
I love his voice in the period of his Woodsyock retreat.
How weird (2), listened to New Morning yesterday for the first time in ages.
The Clash version is hopeless. I diskard it uterly.
New Morning is an ace album. Love this period.
