Alerted by @beany ‘s post on FB, I learn that C.P.Lee, esteemed Dylanogist and front man of Alberto Y Los Trios Paranoias has left us. I was lucky enough to be in London when Snuff was at the Royal Court Theatre in Sloane Square, getting a ticket as a gift for a chum using my room for a spell. I also caught the Albertos a number of times as a support act and at Reading 75.

Sad but true. His wife posted the following shortly after the news broke online. I met him very briefly a couple of times and have a rude anecdote for another time.
– I see this obituary and realise I should say something to make it true. Sadly, devastatingly, my best friend and life companion is gone. Soon after his arrival at Fred’s in Levenshulme Chris collapsed. An ambulance was called. It arrived within 5 minutes and all efforts were made as they took him to the MRI but at 13:36 there was nothing the medical team could do to bring Chris back. He had a cardiac arrest; he couldn’t have even know about it. He was in really good health and so happy to be meeting up with his chum John from Cherry Red Records who has helped me today. Love you forever Chris, Pam X
