Having watched all four yesterday, my advice is to go for it. There are a dizzying amount of new plot lines to digest but I think that is made easier with them having four hours to bed down.
I’m going to fill the void until the next leak by watching it weekly on Sky- I’ve always found that it rewards second – and third – viewings. My only concern now is that the writers, having started spinning half a dozen more plates, – and giving Bran the season off – can resolve them all in the remaining six hours that they have.
I watched it legit on Now TV, streamed to my Chromecast. Don’t have a digital TV provider piped into the house any more, but between the smart apps on my TV, an Apple TV and a Chromecast, it doesn’t matter at all. And I’m saving about £40 a month by only shelling out for internet (no landline either). I love the future.
I thought it was a good first episode, but could’ve done with at least one WOOOOO moment.

We are a Sky-free household, so it’ll be next March before we see series 5. The new box set has become Mr. Breakfast’s traditional birthday present.

Well I’m Murdoch free too but I’m not waiting a year! I’ll get the box set but it will to be Ah-har Bay first!

I don’t mind waiting. After all we’ve only just finished series 4!

Frankly, I’m wondering if George RR Martin can resolve everything in two books…..
