Sounds good to me – a hark back to Killer / Schools Out era on first hearing, and why not as it features original band members Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith.
Album due next February

If you had said anything other than a hark back to Killer, I’d have passed. But you did, and I didn’t. And you were right. I loved Killer and, through a rose tinted slew of nostalgia, it still holds up now, even if my wife winces at Dead Babies: “boysy music”, she calls it. This evokes the Bob Ezrin scuzzy ambience of the opening two tracks, still two of the best Stones tracks the Stones never did. Just don’t show me picture of how the five look now: the long maned gods will not have retained hair, chins or waists, I’ll wager.
Halo of flies possibly his best track but Killer and Billion Dollar babies are essential.
I saw him for first time last year and it was wank rock at its worst.
Would love to have seen him in his heyday.
He bought a Detroit ep out last year which I bought and I think is from same sessions as this new release. It is very good.
I saw him in about 1990 or so, and it was already wank. Awful.
