Agnes Obel has announced a tour which includes UK dates in Bristol, London, Birmingham and Manchester plus a Dublin gig in late November. Tickets go on sale on 3rd May.
Having missed out on a couple of previous occasions, I’m going to make sure I get tickets this time.

Lucky you UK! Maybe she’ll come to Sweden at some point too?
I had an email yesterday about her Sweden gigs.
Unfortunately I can’t give you any details @kaisfatdad, because I barely read it before I deleted it…
As I do with most emails about gigs these days, so nothing against her!
Thanks a lot @Locust. Appreciate it.
Kägelbanan 9 November. Tickets go on sale 3 May. see you there! A chance to meet @duco01 and me face to face! Who could possibly say no to that?
Don’t answer that!
As much as I’d enjoy the mini mingle, an Agnes Obel concert is not where that’s going to happen, I’m afraid!
Her music is pleasant enough, but not enough for me to buy her albums, let alone go to a gig (and I can’t put my finger on why she doesn’t quite float my boat).
In a festival situation I can listen to any kind of artist live, but if I’m going to buy a ticket for a particular gig, I’m only interested in a certain kind of energy. If I can’t dance, punch the air, jump or shout to an artist’s music, I’m less likely to buy a concert ticket to see them live…!
But I’m sure you’ll get your Stockholm mingle one of these days, @kaisfatdad! 🙂
A tuesday night in Birmingham, yes please. That’s another day of a/l gone…
One for @pencilsqueezer who is a fan.
Love to Moose. I don’t go gigging anymore. Can’t afford it.
The nearest she’s playing to me is that there Manchester. After I pay for train travel and a hotel it becomes too rich for my blood.
And to think I don’t go to gigs mainly out of choice, being both lazy and antisocial.
Life ain’t fair.
Let’s hope there will be a new album out from her coming out at the same time, for all us fans who can’t get to the gigs.
