The World Cup still has a couple of days to go, but there is no rest for the Footy fan as the Premier League Season kicks off in less than a month.
So, it’s time to get Fantasy Footballing again.
The Afterword “Classic” League has been renewed (code: 190408-38669)
The Afterword Head To Head League has been created (code: 190408 – 77605)
To Salah or Not To Salah – that is the question?
So how does this work – you register on the site and then join the afterword league?
That’s the one – register and pick your team, go to Leagues / Join a League and enter the codes above
(as long as I’ve got them right)
I’m getting an error code on the Head To Head league? The other one worked fine
That,’ll be me copying the code down wrong.
Half a mo …
The code you need is:
190408-77605
which is the same as above ??? – I is confused
(that was a copy and paste from the site, so I can’t have it wrong)
Shout if still in bother. I’ll dump it, create a new one and re-post the new code here
That one worked OK
Sorted thanks
I’m in!
Been playing this game for a while with assorted mates (and very mixed results) so it’ll be fun to see how it goes with a different crowd 🙂
Draft 956:
The team remains Salah-less
I’m trying to change my habits – only on draft 2 so far and have Salah and Kane. I’m determined to not over think it this season, or be too influenced by the pre-season matches, been burned that way a little too often.
My user name over there is Mr X. Signed up a few years back when I was sick of every bloody site I went to demanding all kinds of personal info they couldn’t possibly need.
…aaaaaaaaand congrats to Rigid Digit on winning the league, it was very close at the top with 2nd and 3rd only 7 and 11 points behind respectively.
FWIW I’ve tried a couple of FPL podcasts this season. It’s a different world, with a language of its own: players are called “assets”, a good score is a “haul”, expensive players are “premium assets” while cheap players are “enablers” and risky players are “differentials”. It’s as if the FPL system was devised by merchant bankers.
