Terrible times, as I can’t see a nice way out of the current pickle. This is a nice version of Timmy Thomas’s “Why can’t we live together?” . I wish I wasn’t posting it.

Nowhere near as good as the original but a very good version.
Perhaps a little more poignant too due to the very recent passing of Timmy Thomas.
I have always loved the Sade version, mainly for the bassline, but this one I first heard last night really wowed me – just lovely
I like both the covers. Interesting to hear the Santana version with latin percussion. The original has an early drum machine. I’m sure the Why Can’t We Live Together album must be the first soul album not to have a drummer on it.
