This not a review as such.
If you know the KoC then all I need to say is that absolutely nothing has changed. A 12 year hiatus since the last album but they haven’t tinkered with the recipe on ‘Peace or Love’. Focussed on the 2 guitars and the ‘S&G’ harmonies of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe with minimal additional instrumentation. There is also the welcome return of Lesley Feist on a couple of numbers.
So all in all nothing ground breaking artistically but if you like the KoC then, like me, you probably don’t want anything more.

Very nice. The last thing I heard by them was the “I’d Rather Dance” single, which got played a lot on Radio 2, would that be about right?
This release ties in nicely with Tom Clayton’s new book “When Quiet Was the New Loud” about the, ahem, “new acoustic movement” of the early 2000s.
Great tune! One more album followed that one in 2009 (Boat Behind was the single) but they’ve been gone a long time.
They barely look any older too.
Didn’t know about that book ; I’ll check it out.
I’m in…..lovely stuff
A new album by KOC is very good news.
On their Facebook page there’s a very lovely unplugged duet with Feist,

What’s not to like. All the tracks I’ve heard from the new album sound great.
I’ve seen their name mentioned on here before and never explored further. I have now. This is giddy, light headed, happy stuff. I love it.
