It’s fantastic news for those of us who were starting to worry that she was far too settled and happy to have any material for her next album. Bring on the vengeful lyrics!
That’s an interesting angle, of course. But these things are marriages of convenience straight out of Jane Austen. She dumps (whoever) and takes up immediately with the Hiddster, who just happens – happens – to be a rising star. Ker-ching!
In fairness, the fact that it was the fifth most read article does not necessarily mean that the readers thought it was the 5th most important. After weeks of largely specious news items about the referendum, some people at least are probably just looking for some light, albeit trivial, relief. In the same way, I don’t suppose people spend all night, every night watching the news channel or serious documentaries.

I hear she dumped him, and has now taken up with that Hiddleston fella.

Really? Not with a bus driver or a welder or somebody like that?
It must be terrible when you can’t have actual relationships with people – only franchises.
Their choice, mind.

Words fail me.
Time for Taylor to do a slightly tweaked Genesis cover?
Un-follow you, un-follow me

Indeed Ernie. I read my fair share of current affairs but have also contributed to this being the 5th most read story today.
I like Taylor Swift a lot. Kudos to a woman who can choose between Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston. In real life! Swoonsville ❤️

The news of the past week has been EU referendum, massacre in Orlando and Jo Cox shot. No wonder this got popular.

Taylor Swift I’ve heard of, but not heard. Calvin Hobbes (whomever) is unknown to me. Couldn’t be happier.
