Painting it seems.
I expect someone will say “that painting is a copy of a painting in the basement of the Tuscaloosa Art Gallery” but I ‘d be happy to be able to paint like that. And he is 80.

The Basement Tapes and JWH were effectively recorded under lockdown, albeit in a bubble with some hirsute hicks.
Get in the studio, you crazy varmint.

Yes I had hoped for something like that but a lot harder to organise.

Four?
Garth is still with us as is Robbie.
Moose the Mooche says
Oh, there were only five in t’Band. Sorry. I knew Garth was still with us, though I think only just, alas.
Three dead instead of four….RESULT!!
…er….

Well, Ronnie Hawkins is dead, even if he had fired his band, or vice versa, before Dylan found them.

Think his death will come a surprise to him, still alive ‘n kicking

I have 3 of his signed limited edition ‘Beaten path’ signed prints. I bought them in 2019 in a moment of extravagance at a cost of £ 6300. Two of the three are completely sold out and their combined value is now just under £16,000.
Believe it or not his artwork is going to be exhibited in Miami – the first ever exhibition is his native country in November this year.
Unless he is outed as a pervert a la Rolf Harris this has proven to be a good investment.

Got a cellar of the whisky too Steve?

We had two that looked really good together, but following the separation I now have one on the wall. I let her choose which one she wanted, so it felt like a small victory when I saw that mine had increased in value a lot more than hers, but it’s irrelevant anyway, as I’m not selling it. Her dad bought an individual one and two of the boxes of six (he had to do something with all the cash in hand he had been paid!), that I must admit I was looking forward to making their way to us at some point in the future. Ah well!

There was an exhibish near me a few years ago. Yes, really.
The Hull Daily Mail link doesn’t work, which I don’t mind because I don’t want those nasty shitheads getting click money.

Oh…I am quite literally disappoint. Thought this was an update on our erstwhile buddy, as flagged up on the, er, ‘disappointment’ post.

There’s a exhibition of Mr Comedy’s paintings in a gallery in one of the posh arcades in Leeds at the mo. We gave them 5/10.
