Actually, I am extremely grateful all I ever see round here is huntsmen/wolf spiders. We have a (slightly uneasy) coexistence, I will catch and release in the garden.
According to the Christmas edition of the No Such Thing As A Fish podcast, cartographers are now leaving New Zealand off world maps, having accepted that its putative existence was just an elaborate hoax. So, I take it “Auckland” is an Internet café in Staines or somewhere similar…?

I know we have Redbacks in the garden but I’ve never seen one in 18 years at this house. Famous last words…
