They’ve obviously been inspired by the Swedish conservative party Moderaterna, who successfully started using those rhetorics some years back and managed to get into power (although not right now).
They even tacked it onto their logo on every poster etc; “Nya Moderaterna – det nya arbetarpartiet” (“The new Moderaterna – the new labour party”)
Did I ever mention that I once stood next to Fredrik Reinfeldt in the queue at Systembolaget NK/Passagen during the days between Christmas and New Year 2012?
Lucky it wasn’t me standing next to him.
That man activates my gag reflexes, I would have turned into Mr Creosote all over Fredrik’s marzipanlike head and expensive suit.
Then SÄPO would have dragged me to the dungeons. Not a nice Christmas.
I keep running into the former head of Folkpartiet, the one with the odd voice and tiny eyes whose name I obviously can’t remember. He’s roaming the streets near where I live.
At least the Lib Dems are the same reliably feckless twonks they always have been. Thank goodness for their constancy.
I think the Greens have the most to say that I agree with. They’re kind of Old Labour, which is quite me. Unfortunately, there is something rather grating about their leader, Natalie Bennett. What a pity it is not that nice Caroline Lucas instead.
Yes, but … they propose to close down all nuclear and coal fired power stations within 10 years and when asked tonight on Radio 4 where the power was going to come from once they shut down more than 50% of the supply, all the numpty from the Greens could offer was that improving home insulation would take care of that.
They are all a bunch of liars and idiots – all of them.
I think they just lost the election with that manifesto. Dismal.
If I were running the Labour campaign now, I’l lock Ed and Ed in a room until the General Election and leave the Tories to it over the next few weeks.

I did? Oh.
Lucky it wasn’t me standing next to him.

Did you hear Theresa May on ‘Today’ this morning, answering questions on the ‘Right to Buy’ proposal. She absolutely had not got a clue.
That Right to Buy policy is about as stupid as it gets.
So we have Labour as the party of fiscal responsibility and the Tories as the friends of the working class? Er, no. I don’t believe any of it.

It is definitely 1984
