Enjoyable read. The Wiggles DVDs are constantly played here.
A fine site too. I will explore further.

Bernard Zuel was the main music writer for the Sydney Morning Herald til he took a redundancy package with their endless downsizing.
mikethep says
He’s a terrific writer. His review of the new Marlon Williams waxing (highly recommended btw) is really good, by which I mean his uncanny ability to put his finger on the exact mix of influences that show through.
Baron Harkonnen says
Who the feck is Red Wiggle Murray Cook?
Moose the Mooche says
Sir! Sir! There’s a civilian in the classroom!
fishface says
Make that two.
minibreakfast says
I’m guessing he’s one of The Wiggles. Probably the one in red.
retropath2 says
Hmmmm, however like many an AWista in his approach to collecting Mr Redwiggle seems to be, I would have thought a knowledge of the Wiggles (and no, me neither) confirms the civvy street status of those proclaiming otherwise. Territorial army at best.
Junior Wells says
Aussie fun band for pre school kids. All wear different coloured skivvies. Have conquered the world in their market as opening paras explain.
If you dont have toddlers or have had a connection to toddlers in last 15 years you may not have encountered them.
Baron Harkonnen says
I’ll put that to the test Junior when I next encounter the grandoffspring. You’ve not heard the last of this.
Harold Holt says
The Wiggles were big in America too (might still be for all I know), not just huge in Australia. I think all the originals bar Anthony have retired and it’s a bunch of stand ins now. I did see the Big Red Car in a warehouse near Balmain a few years ago. That was a riot for the youngest sprog.
Here they are pre-Wiggles when they were The Cockroaches.
No, don’t thank me. All part of the service.
Black Celebration says
Here they are with their cover of a Toots and the Maytals ska classic, Monkey Man. Also lending a hand to a struggling up and coming Aussie vocalist at the same time.
Mousey says
Murray is a top bloke despite the fact that he was a Wiggle. Had him on my radio show a couple of years ago, great selection, good talker. And I met him at a gig with Sydney XTC cover band The Scarecrow People! Oh yeah, and he’s a Zappa fan too!
Black Celebration says
@Arthur-cowslip there’s a really good high definition photo of a needle playing on a record if you click the link on the OP.
Arthur Cowslip says
Still none the wiser.
Beany says
They did this fine version of Walk On The Wild Side.
Harold Holt says
They had a few artists appear with them too. Like Tum Funn.
